Beth Boswell served as Ken Black’s Special Assistant – Policy, Anti-Drug Strategy from 1989-1990, prior to that she was a Communications Assistant to Ian Scott, Attorney General of Ontario and a junior communications assistant to Murray Elston, Minister of Health. She left government in 1990 to work for Fleishman-Hillard Toronto, a communications agency, and then transferred to Asia. Over 16 years, she worked and lived throughout Asia, finally leaving the agency when she was the Managing Director, Southeast Asia. Beth then joined a division of Novartis, a medicines company, in Singapore with communications responsibility for Asia and Russia before moving to the US with Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a global communications director. Beth is retired and back in Canada.
